The Dutch artist Francis Warringa shows his most recent works at the exposition Maastricht – Madrid. Faced with a visible diversity in his works, we can find some common denominators which, indeed, establish his style. In his whole work Warringa starts with chaos and ends up controlling it through a tidying process. The paintings reveals his already known language, in which the dynamism produced by the energy and the speed of the brushstroke and the brightness and purity of the colours, confers to his works a strong feeling of liveliness. We can also see innovations, as the appearance of main architectures and the use of perspective, without leaving the idea of creation within the big formal simplicity that has always identified him.
